Have you ever had a day when everything feels wrong? Well, I have had them every so often. Today is one of those days. I know that this “blah” feelings is not going to be forever but it is hard to go through the day when this is happening. Plus, my tendency to feel really depressed sometimes makes it even harder to get out from the ruts.
Knowing that open air tends to make me feel better, my hubby and I took a walk around his work place. That was not bad at all. I do feel slightly better. Then, I tried to read more inspiring articles such as those in www.beliefnet.com.
The next thing that I did was meeting with people, all strangers, to practice my Spanish. This one does not work too well. The people are quite nice, but I ended up feeling shy and more disconnected. I think this was too stressful of an activity for me.
Lastly, I want to try is to get enough sleep. Sleeping too late at night seems to aggravate my depression. Wish me luck on this.
